The Broker Club are pleased to announce the launch of the ‘Women in Broking’ Networking Group.

The aims of the network will be:

• Encourage and promote a truly diverse network
• Research, highlight and promote ways to both attract and retain women working within broking firms.
• Be a point of contact and centre for best practice and data.
• Create a supportive network for all women who work within a financial services broking firm

How the network will operate:

Using the cross-industry organisation of The Broker Club as a platform to reach firms the Women in Broking Network will do the following:

• Hold Events: Organise and hold industry wide events with the aim of building a network amongst women working in broking to empower women within the industry.
• Use the Women in Broking platform to promote a career within financial services broking to new female recruits.
• Education – highlight and discuss the challenges for women within broking and how firms can overcome those challenges.
• Data – Collect and retain data wherever possible to support diversity and monitor change.
• Support – Organise a mentoring program
