The Global FX Committee has published guidance on last look practices.
On 18th August 2021, the Global Foreign Exchange Committee (GFXC) has published its report on last look practices (FX Global Code, principle 17).
This report reflects the final determination of the latest review and completes the updated version of the FX Global Code which was published on 15th July 2021.
The principle 17 has not been changed and this guidance paper is not part of the FX Global Code. It is intended to be read alongside that principle to provide greater knowledge and understanding of last look practices undertaken by Market Participants.
ACI FMA, with support from National Associations, responded to the GXFC survey requesting feedback on the topic of last look, and also contributed via Working Groups in order to provide input to the GXFC for consideration in the creation of this report.
This report will also be available in our ELAC platform (for E-Learning, Attestation and Certification on industry Codes), as has happened with the previous reports published by the GFXC.
