May 25 2017 heralded the publication of the new FX Global Code of Conduct.  ACI is proud to have participated in the creation of the new Code and believes that it provides an excellent framework for ethical behaviour that will be enhanced and refined as market circumstances demand.

As longstanding proponents and influencers of ethical conduct, ACI welcomes the progress made by the FX Working Group in respect of defining Code principles, governance and adherence. An active member of the Market Participants Group reporting to the BIS FX Working Group, ACI contributed directly to this important industry initiative and will continue to contribute to the GFXC (Global Foreign Exchange Committee) that will assume ownership and responsibility for the future development of the Code. We will also participate directly in ongoing market consultation on specific Code Principles.

In conjunction with the publication of the new Global Code, we are delighted to announce the availability of our new ACI FX Global Code Certificate, new ACIFMA Global Code/Ethical Conduct phone apps and access to the Global Code in ELAC. All of these services are available from 25 May.

We are very proud to be at the forefront of Global Code adherence and attestation initiatives, and in the continuing promotion of ethical conduct and best market practice for market participants worldwide.We will continue to enhance and refine content around the Global Code and other Codes and to add further value to ACI UK members and the wider financial markets community.
