FX GLOBAL CODE: IS IT WORKING?  IS IT ENOUGH?  WHAT NEXT?

As the Global Foreign Exchange Committee works on the next revision of the FX Global Code, our panel of experts will discuss the influence and impact of the Code in changing industry ‘culture and conduct’.

As the Mark Johnson case rumbles on, and other cases alleging ‘bad acts’ by individuals and organisations continue to make headlines, this event will offer insights on the role and value of the Code in inducing best market practices and behaviours – in organisations AND individuals. In particular, the panel will consider the Code’s impact on dealer conduct, and individuals’ responsibility and accountability in the context of broader regulation (e.g. UK’s Senior Manager and Certification Regime, Market Abuse Regime etc.)..

Join us to hear from Liam Crellin, Managing Director, Wholesale Compliance, Standard Chartered Bank; Colin Lambert, Managing Editor, Profit and Loss; Jack Drohan, Drohan Lee LLP and David Woolcock (Moderator), ACI Committee For Professionalism.
