At the AGM held on November 11 2019, Oliver Madden was elected to the position of ACI UK President, taking over from Sue Attwood, long time leader of ACI UK’s efforts as President and Managing Director.  Oliver is a long standing member of the ACI UK Executive Committee and also former Chair of the ACI Financial Markets Association Board of Education.  At the AGM, Andy Green was elected as the new Vice President.  (Sue Attwood stepped down from the President role along with Alan Clarke, former Vice President).   Other new Executive Committee members elected at the AGM are Anne Pounds, Jeff Roberts, Sharma Rambocus and Gavin Wells.   Details at https://aci-uk.com/committee/

On assuming this new role, Oliver Madden said:  “I am honoured and privileged to succeed Sue Attwood as President of the ACI Financial Markets Association in the UK.  Thanks to Sue’s leadership I inherit an association 100% focused on empowering financial professionals with the expertise and ethics to do the right thing, all of the time. Competence and conduct have never been more important in support of everyone’s ambition to restore trust in financial markets and I look forward to working with my committee to provide continued insight and value to our members.”

Sue’s commitment and contribution to ACI UK is acknowledged in the many, many tributes received from ACI colleagues and friends and her fantastic service to ACI has been recognised formally through Honorary Life Membership of ACI UK.   Sue will continue to be involved in ACI UK’s flagship educational courses – the Dealing Simulation Course and new FX Masterclass – and we very much hope that she will continue to be an active participant in our events and activities.

ACI UK thanks Sue, Shoulders (Alan Clarke), Vince O’Sullivan and Jonathan Healey for their service and support to ACI UK and welcomes our new Committee Members to the fold.
