ACI UK GLOBAL CODE OF CONDUCT TRAINING AND EXAM
PILOT PROGRAMME – 3 & 4 JUNE 2019

ACI UK, the industry association representing individual professional financial market practitioners, and Corellian Trading Academy, have joined forces to offer market participants a 2-day training programme on the Global Code of Conduct, with the option for delegates to take the ACI Global Code Certificate examination at the end of the Course.
As authors of the original FX Model Code that forms the foundation of the new Global Code, and long-time drivers and influencers of ethical conduct and best practice, ACI has unrivalled knowledge and expertise in this space.
The new Course will be led by Darryl Hooker, long standing ACI UK Executive Committee member, member of the ECB FX Working Group and a participant in the Global Foreign Exchange Committee, alongside FX industry experts from the Corellian Training Academy, including Chris Ashton.
Over 2 days the Course will cover Global Code principles and associated industry best practices, including compliance/adherence requirements and associated regulatory body expectations, leading to an (optional) ACI Global Code Certificate exam which provides a recognised qualification and valuable attestation to your Code knowledge and understanding.
The course syllabus is structured around 7 key elements that form the basis of the ACI’s Global Code exam. These are the development, basis and application of the Code and the 6 leading principles that form the Global FX Code. The style of teaching is interactive and aims to provide delegates with practical learning takeaways to apply the Code in your day to day roles. Day 1 will discuss the shift of regulators towards personal accountability, leading to development of the Code, Ethics, Governance and Execution. Day 2 covers the remaining 3 principles: Information Sharing; Risk Management and Compliance; Confirmation and Settlement. The remainder of day 2 involves preparation and practice for the ACI Global Code examination (for those who are planning on sitting the exam).
ACI UK is offering a substantial discount to participate in the pilot session for this new Course. It’s just £400 for current ACI UK members (£600 for non-members) with an additional £250 for the ACI Global Code examination for those interested in sitting the exam. The pilot session is planned for 3 and 4 June with other Course dates to follow. (NB The Global Code exam will be taken on a later date at an authorised test centre).
To sign up for our pilot programme and take advantage of the significantly discounted delegate rate, register your interest by completing and returning the form here. If your organisation is interested in hosting the Course at its own facilities, the course fees (ex-exam fees) will be waived for one delegate.
